Location: Stand alone small store
Strategy: Increase customer base and sales
Step One:
Bookstore contacts local or regional authors and gets permission to increase those authors' book sales by offering 3-4 chapters for free out of their books. The books should encompass popular genres like business, investing, self-help, parenting, children's books, and/or romance.
Step Two:
The chapters are offered for free for anyone who will fill out the contact information card with e-mail address requested.
Step Three:
E-mails are sent with offer for referring 20 of their friends. The rest of the book from the free chapters is offered.
Step Four:
As e-mail database continues to grow, offers for referrals and free chapters are continually sent. A website is created to handle information regarding where books are available.
