Marketing Quick Tips

Clearly, Concisely, & Quickly Communicate
- Steps 9 thru 12 -

9. Use The Word "FREE" Effectively: Don't give away your product or service, but do offer a FREE (high perceived value, low actual cost) incentive or educational report. Remember FREE happens to be the most powerful word in marketing and advertising. No other word can generate as much action. Just make sure you don't over-use it, or set unrealistic conditions for people to benefit from your offer.

10. Short Copy Vs. Long Copy: Say as much as needs to be said, then quit. Don't write a book, but don't hold back either. Some people fear their marketing won't get read unless it's super short, so they write two brief paragraphs and stop. Don't worry! Prospects WILL read your marketing if it's loaded with valuable information that hits their hot buttons. So say what needs to be said - not too much, not too little, and then quit.

11. Use Emphasis Tools: Allow the reader to "hear" your voice tone and inflection while reading:

Bold, italics, underlining, ALL CAPS, (parenthesis), etc.

12. Use Punctuation: Allow the reader to "hear" your pauses and pacing while reading:

Between Words
Between Sentences
Normal pause
White space
Period
Shorter pause
Hyphen
Semicolon (or colon)
Longer pause
Dash
Paragraph
